Wells Monument Co. Was established in 1877. My Grandfather, Charles Thomas Knight, moved here from Elizabethtown, Ky. and started selling monuments on his own under Knight Monument Co. in 1963. My father and mother, Fred and Alice Knight, bought out Wells Monument Co. in 1973. They soon combined the two and originated Knight & Sons Monument Co.. After the passing of my father, Fred Lane Knight, in 1987 it was up to my mother to carry the load. She has owned the business on her own since 1987. I came into the business my sophomore year in high school, 1993. I have been in the business and have loved it ever since. We are striving to provide a quality product, with service and excellence being number one. We currently have 5 employees. We are serving all of the tri-state area. We try to do all of our work in a very timely manner.
